Quick troubleshooting
Most common fixesAccessibility prompt loop
If fadr keeps asking for Accessibility permission after you granted it, quit fadr, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility, toggle fadr off and on, then relaunch.
Conflicts with BetterTouchTool
BTT gestures that start in the middle of the trackpad rarely conflict. If you have BTT gestures set to begin at the edges, open fadr Preferences → Edges → Edge margin and lower it, or assign that edge to None.
Edge not responding
Open Preferences → Edges and confirm the edge has an action assigned. Check Typing detection - if you just typed, fadr waits a few hundred milliseconds before re-arming. Finally, rebooting the app often clears up stale gesture state.
External Magic Trackpad not detected
Plug in via Lightning once to pair, then fadr will recognize it over Bluetooth. If you use multiple trackpads, assign edges per-device in Preferences → Devices.
License key won't activate
Make sure you're using the most recent version of fadr. Paste the key exactly as it appears in your purchase email (no extra spaces). If you still get an error, email the key to us and we'll fix it manually.
Uninstalling cleanly
Quit fadr, drag it from Applications to the Trash, then remove ~/Library/Preferences/llc.valid.fadr.plist if you want to erase your settings too. Revoke Accessibility permission under System Settings → Privacy & Security.
